Over the weekend we had our Bird Identification Workshop. Here are just a few pictures taken throughout the day....

After our talk about garden birds and how to identify them through sight and sound, we now had to go and put some of the newly learnt knowledge into practice on a walk down to 

Morden Hall Park.

helps you to hear the birds.

Turf Maze

After moving 3 tons of soil and roll, after roll, after roll, after roll of turf, and the help of many willing volunteers. We now have before and after photos. 

 

Our maze has now been re-turfed. We have a few finishing touches to do over the winter and it will be re-opening in spring 2013 for all to enjoy.

Bird Identification Workshop - a couple of spaces left

Sweet chilli Jam.

 

Our last post was showing Rosemary and myself picking tomatoes and chillies from our poly tunnel to make a sweet chilli jam. As you can see from the photo above, it has been made... and it tastes AMAZING!

Today we harvested lots of tomatoes and chilli peppers. Our friend Rosemary will be whisking them home and turning them into chilli jam to be sold in our farm shop! You cant get any fresher than that!  

 

 

We still have lots more to ripen.



We sell lots of other home-made jams and chutneys made by Rosemary which are available in our Farm shop.
